Starting early on 28 July at 10am in Twelve Mile Bay, we will paddle to O’Donnell Point, through a few islands before crossing 14km of open and exposed water to the Western Islands and set up camp for two nights. On Saturday we will explore the Islands including the light house in the southern part of the island group. Please note: This is a self outfitted trip, all equipment, gear, clothing, food, fuel and cooking is every participants own responsibility.
Paddling distance: Approx: 25 – 30km per day.
This trip will take us into a remote area without emergency services nearby. We could be stranded on the islands for days due to inclement weather conditions, warm clothing, extra rations of food and cooking fuel are advised to last beyond the scheduled trip duration. Every participant is responsible to take along all gear, food and fuel as if he/she is going alone.
