Bayfield Inlet to Key River – Georgian Bay: May 26-30, 2022

We’ll meet on Thursday evening to camp out at Rob’s cottage at Bayfield Inlet. On Friday morning we’ll set out to paddle up the coast. Over the next three days we’ll make our way up to the mouth of the Key River, if weather and conditions allow, we may take a detour via the Bustard Islands. On Monday we’ll take out at the Key River Marina.

Please note:
Cars will be shuttled to the Key River Marina either Thursday evening or Friday morning.
There will be parking fees at the marinas.
Expect paddling distances of up to 30 km per day.
Participants can expect some exposed paddling and need to be comfortable in 1 meter waves and up to 5 km crossings.
Water will be cold, a drysuit is highly recommended, at a minimum bring a wetsuit.
