Trip Description:

Late season Lake Opeongo Algonquin park.   November 6 on the water before noon paddle to the West arm base camp on the west arm and head home Sunday afternoon.  I am hoping to circumnavigate the lake 20-25km per day.

The park reservation system shows it as being closed however I have called and we can still book a site as long as the weather forecast is not too bad one week before Launch.  Due to the season, if there is a lot of rain forecast we will cancel.  The lake being smaller than the Great Lake will be cooler this time of year so immersion clothing will be necessary either wetsuit or drysuit preferably drysuit.

Notes:

Camping fees are approximately $12.50/night/person and an extra $15 per extra vehicle split among us.

**Drysuits/Wetsuits required.** (see: GLSKA_Trip_Guidelines.pdf)

Meeting Location: Meeting location lake Opeongo access point
Meeting Time: Meeting time 10:00 Friday Morning
