Please join us at GLSKA’s Annual General Meeting on Saturday, 23 November, 2019

Our special guests at this year’s  Annual General Meeting will be a rescue team from the Peel Police Marine Unit.  Their presentation will deal with survival and rescue in cold water.

We will be meeting to review our club’s performance in the paddling year that is drawing to its close. If you are a paid-up GLSKA member you can vote on resolutions, join a committee to get things done, stand for election to the board – or just enjoy it as a social event. The meeting will start at 1:00 pm with coffee, soft drinks and a pizza lunch. This is a great chance to trade stories of trips and make plans for next year. The “business” part of the meeting will be kept as short as possible! The Peel Marine Unit’s  presentation will begin at 2:00 pm. and we expect to wrap up the meeting  by 5:00 pm.

Our venue this year is once again the

PORT CREDIT MEMORIAL ARENA

(Meeting in THE CREDIT ROOM)

40 Stavebank Road,  Port Credit

It’s really useful if you can let us know if you plan to come – this gives us a chance to get the right amounts of pizza, coffee and chairs. Just send an email to our Secretary (rodgersk545@gmail.com). If you do come – and we hope you will – be environmentally friendly and bring along your own cup, plate and cutlery!
