Both sessions now fully subscribed. Applications beyond capacity are being put on a waiting list.
Paddling season will soon be upon us and GLSKA is again offering pool sessions for those who would like to refresh their muscle-memory. Pool sessions will be held at two different locations again this year, Oakville and Toronto. This is your opportunity to practice rescue techniques, and try the finer paddling tricks in a warm, safe environment. You can work on your own or in small groups to improve your stroke, edging, bracing, wet exits and re-entries, or rolls. Some instruction, assistance and coaching may be provided by certified instructors and/or GLSKA members.
Oakville sessions are limited to 12 spots, and Toronto sessions are limited to 10. Both are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up early. No equipment is provided, you are expected to bring your own (clean!) boat and equipment – don’t forget your PFD. For insurance purposes you must be a 2019 GLSKA member in good standing in order to participate.
Details for each location are below.
We hope to see you there.

Session Prices
GLSKA is a non-profit club run by volunteers. We set the pricing for these sessions by dividing the best price we could obtain from the municipality or school board providing the pool by the estimated number of participants in the sessions.
