Plan to meet at Lock 20 in Peterborough in early afternoon of Sept 23 to arrange lock-age for the week, set up camp and shuttle vehicles to the end point in Brighton, ON. We will push off from lock 20 early on the 24th. The Trent-Severn Waterway is a beautiful waterway snaking through numerous lakes and rivers in central Ontario. This is a travelling trip where we will camp at different lock stations/sites each night. Day distances are averaging 25kms/day, that includes 150kms for the week and 20 locks. The trip will continue through the Murray Canal to the small town of Brighton where it will end on Sept 30. More information will be supplied closer to the start date. Cost will include $5.00 camping/night at each lock station, shuttling vehicle and special treats for captain Dave.
