3-5 October 2014 Georgian Bay Storm Huddle

The aim of this event is to bring together paddlers who enjoy rough water paddling. Safety will be the first priority. Participants should be experienced paddlers with appropriate cold water gear, a helmet, and a kayak that is suitable for rough water paddling. e.g. approximately 16 feet or less, with some rocker. If the weather is too nice for rough water paddling, then there are some interesting day trips in the area that will keep you busy. The base camp is a cottage with cooking facilities, etc. Participants can camp if they wish but there will be sufficient space for all to sleep indoors in case the weather is bad (which is good). Further details regarding accommodation and food sharing will be provided to participants.
