Paddling season will soon be upon us and GLSKA is again offering pool sessions for those who would like to refresh their muscle-memory. Pool sessions are being held at two locations this year, Burlington and Toronto. This is your opportunity to practice rescue techniques, and try the finer paddling tricks in a warm, safe environment. You can work on your own or in small groups to improve your stroke, edging, bracing, wet exits and re-entries, or rolls. Some instruction may be provided by certified instructors and/or GLSKA members. Burlington sessions are limited to 12 spots, and Toronto sessions are limited to 10. Both are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up early. No equipment is provided, you are expected to bring your own (clean!) boat and equipment. For insurance purposes you must be a 2018 GLSKA member in good standing in order to participate.
Details for each location are below.
