Philip Edward Island – Georgian Bay, June 29 – July 3, 2021

Meet at the George Lake entrance to Killarney Provincial Park at noon on Tuesday, June 29 to purchase your vehicle parking pass. We will launch from Chikanishing Creek and search for a base camp. The area’s increase in popularity may require us to paddle some distance to find an appropriate campsite. Participants should be prepared to move camp if required. Over the following days we will visit the south shore of Philip Edward Island and the surrounding islands.

Participants should expect some exposed paddling and be comfortable paddling in one-meter waves. A wet suit or dry suit is required.

Interested paddlers will be notified by end of day June 25 as to whether or not they have a spot on this trip. Participants must have had at least one COVID vaccination two weeks prior to June 29. A COVID-19 Screening Questionnaire and further trip information will be provided to participants.
